How times change! When I came as your pastor three years ago, I knew nothing of computers, and the Internet was to me a mystery. This week my state-of-the-art laptop computer arrived, and here I am conversing with you on the Internet. Why, I have become a thoroughly modern Pastor — at least electronically.

Now, I know that both computer and Internet are great blessings, if used properly. I have found the computer to be almost miraculous as a research instrument in the works of Aquinas, and how, on this instrument, I can speak to you about the great unchanging truths, and of Him, Who is their source and model. How blest indeed we are!

Each week I hope to be able to express here a thought or two for your reflection. Now, I give you an insight of St. Thomas on the Incarnation. Is it not wonderful that He, through Whom all things exist, should have taken unto Himself the nature of a man, in which nature the matter of the galaxies and the spirituality of the angels are combined? The source of all being joins Himself, in love, with the last of His creation.

Indeed He is the Alpha and the Omega.

Praise Him.
